Jimmy Carr announces huge run of Irish shows next year

Jimmy Carr

The UK comedian will perform a total of 14 Irish shows next year – including 11 newly-announced dates and three rescheduled shows at the Olympia Theatre.

Characterised by his deadpan delivery and complete disregard for political correctness, Jimmy Carr is one of the most well-known names in British comedy. Also a popular TV personality, he became the first English comic to record a special for Netflix with other onscreen projects including panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Channel 4’s annual Big Fat Quiz of the Year.

Confirming that he’ll perform a huge run of Irish shows next year, the UK comedian has just added 11 new dates to his 2021 c. Sounds like he’ll be busy so.

Already due to perform three shows at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre, those dates have since been rescheduled to 2021 due to ongoing Covid-19 concerns. Part of his Terribly Funny Tour, he’s now added 11 new shows to the list bringing the total number of Irish shows he’ll perform next year up to 14.

Promising jokes about ‘all kinds of terrible things’, shows are definitely not for the easily offended and audience members can expect plenty of inappropriate jokes at their expense. Let’s be honest though, we’d be going for his laugh as much as anything else. There’s truly nothing else like it.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am. Customers are advised that all tickets for the rescheduled Olympia Theatre shows will be valid for the new dates.
