Joe Exotic so convinced he’ll be pardoned that he already has limo waiting

Joe Exotic

Tiger King was quickly overshadowed by the arrival of Normal People but you’d be very mistaken if you thought Joe Exotic would let the world forget about him.

Remember the Tiger King era of lockdown? Feels like a lifetime ago that we were binge-watching the series and hypothesising as to what could have happened to Carole Baskin’s missing husband Don Lewis.

Many months have passed since then and things have quietened down slightly on the Tiger King front but that could all be about to change very soon… at least if Joe Exotic has his way.

Still gunning for a presidential pardon from Mr Trump, it seems that Joe is so convinced he’ll get it that he has transportation ready and waiting for his release. Not one to fly under the radar, he won’t be slipping out in anything less than the best and Metro UK reports that his team have booked him a limousine for the occasion.

Under the impression that a presidential pardon is practically guaranteed, Joe’s legal squad are believed to have devised a ‘pamper plan’ for the controversial former zoo owner with a limo also on standby to whisk him away to a secret location upon release.

Speaking of the ‘exit plan’, Eric Love – head of Joe’s legal team – commented:

“We have good reason to believe it (the presidential pardon) will come through. We’re confident enough we already have a limousine parked about a half-mile from the prison. We are really in action mode right now.”

Currently serving a 22-year sentence for animal abuse and a murder-for-hire plot against Carole Baskin, Exotic is hoping to get word from Donald Trump at some point today. Explaining why he thinks a pardon is definitely on the cards for Joe, Love later added:

“I think the president has sided with us and I believe it will take most of the limelight away from president-elect Joe Biden.”

And in true Joe Exotic style, a hair, makeup and wardrobe specialist is also at the ready.

Trump is expected to hand out around 100 pardons during his remaining hours in office.
