This week in random celeb spotting around Ireland, Irish TikToker Aoibh Carroll got to catch up with Olivia Rodrigo on the mean streets of Cork as the Good 4 U singer waited for a crepe from Ginos.
It has yet to be confirmed whether Olivia took an upward angle selfie with the multicoloured bulbs and mirrored ceiling after ordering her dessert.
Aoibh recounted the exchange to her 22k TikTok followers, saying:
Guys, I full on just met Olivia Rodrigo… In Cork, in Cork I just met Olivia Rodrigo.
Obviously the Grammy winner is under no illusions about where the real capital is.
According to Aoibh, she spotted Olivia in Brown Thomas before she headed into Ginos for a crepe, at which point the TikToker said to herself "there's no way I'm letting this opportunity pass me" and went over to say hello.
Over the weekend, the 19 year old singer brought Lily Allen out on stage with her at Glastonbury to sing F*** You in response to the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade, saying "I wanted to dedicate this next song to five members of the Supreme Court who have shown us that at the end of the day they truly don’t give a s*** about freedom.”
