With Christmas just around the corner, this would be a lovely pressie to find tucked away in your wallet or purse.

Lotto bosses here in Ireland are appealing to  players to check their Euromillions numbers as three winners have yet to come forward to collect jackpots.

A Meath winner is yet to collect their €500,000 winnings while a second and third winner, from Leitrim and Waterford respectively, are walking around with tickets worth €1million each.

Oh sweet baby Jaysus.

The lucky punter in Meath, however, has just three weeks to collect the massive jackpot as the 90 day timeline is coming to an end.

The winner scooped the top EuroMillions Plus prize on Tuesday, September 26, after they bought a €7 Quick Pick ticket at the Kilmoon Service Station in Ashbourne, Co Meath.

The winning numbers were 17, 31, 37, 40, 46.

He/she has until Christmas Day to collect the cash.

National Lottery boss Dermot Griffin said: “There is somebody out there with a EuroMillions ticket worth €500,000 so we are appealing to our players to check their tickets carefully.

“The deadline for this prize is Christmas Day so we would love to see them in our winners’ room before Christmas so they can celebrate the holiday season in style.”
