Love Actually Is Going To Have A Sequel And We’re Beyond Excited

Liz

It’s been 14 years since we found out that love, actually, IS all around us.

We’ve lived in hope ever since that there would be a sequel and today, our dreams came true.

Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Rowan Atkinson, Martine McCutcheon, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lucia Moniz, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson, Bill Nighy and Marcus Brigstocke will be reuniting for a ten-minute long Comic Relief special, airing 24 March.

There are some notable absences in terms of characters.

Alan Rickman passed away last year, which is probably why Emma Thompson isn’t involved. Laura Linney and Martin Freeman also aren’t among the cast members.

Creator Richard Curtis says:

“We’ve been delighted and grateful that so many of the cast are around and able to take part – and it’ll certainly be a nostalgic moment getting back together and recreating their characters 14 years later.”

We’re looking forward to seeing how things have ended up!
