A trip to the pictures is most definitely on the cards.

Love Actually will be making a comeback to Irish cinema screens this year.

One of the most beloved Christmas movies, it will be shown in all Omniplex Cinemas across the country.

Part of the Coca-Cola Christmas Experience, exclusive to Omniplex might I add, Love Actually was picked as the festive film of choice by popular vote.

Beating out stiff competition from the likes of Trading Places, a 1983 film starring Dan Aykroyd and funnyman Eddie Murphy, as well as Die Hard starring Bruce Willis, Love Actually came out on top with the majority vote.

For anyone who has yet to see the classic flick-the 2003 UK rom-com follows the lives of various interconnecting characters as it explores one common theme. Love, in case that wasn’t clear.

Starring an impressive cast of Hollywood stars,  familiar faces who make an appearance throughout include Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Alan Rickman, Keira Knightley and Emma Thompson.

Hitting up the big screen for one night only, customers are invited in for the special showing on December 22nd.

Tickets even include a complimentary medium popcorn and drink.

To me, this is perfect.
