Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan are starring together in a gritty crime film which shows Chan take revenge on Irish terrorists who are responsible for the death of his daughter, and Brosnan play an ex-IRA member who is now a government official.
And is *definitely* not based on Gerry Adams. Apparently.
People are quick to point out though, the uncanny resemblance between the actor and the Sinn Fein leader, with some saying that he looks even more like Gerry Adams than Adams himself.

Gerry Adams is a doppelgänger of Pierce Brosnan mate ???? pic.twitter.com/UQtH7kaWqB

Gerry Adams is brushing it off as a bit of fun, saying that "it's a bit of craic, a bit of fun, that's all and I'm getting a lot of slagging about it."
And considering that Adams has consistently denied any involvement with the IRA, we're sure it's just a funny coincidence that the production department was so inspired.
Either way, the movie looks absolutely slick.
