WATCH: Antrim’s Famous Dark Hedges Feature In New Hollywood Blockbuster Trailer

Ireland has some pretty incredible filming locations (Cliffs of Moher, we’re talking about you) and one the most recognisable is the Dark Hedge’s in Co. Antrim, which have featured in Game of Thrones.

Now they’ve starred in yet another huge production and they look amazing.

The moody hedge row appears in the trailer for upcoming blockbuster Transformers: The Last Knight.

The teaser shows a character riding a horse down the rural path in the darkness, and it looks as if some major drama is about to unfold.

The Dark Hedges beech trees have become one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Northern Ireland, and were planted all the way back in the 18th century.

Nice to see our stunning scenery getting the Hollywood approval.
