WATCH: ‘Dunkirk’ Looks Like It Could Be One Of The Most Epic War Movies Ever

The first full trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk has just dropped and it looks like it could be this generation’s Saving Private Ryan.

The film tells the story of World War II’s Battle Of Dundirk where allied soldiers attempted to evacuate France only to be surrounded by the German army in what was to be a colossal military disaster.

From the director of The Dark Knight and Interstellar, the war movie boasts an impressive cast, including Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance, and (for the teenyboppers in the audience) One Direction’s Harry Styles. 

Dunkirk hits cinemas on July 21, 2017.
