Ed Sheeran Croke Park Rumours Gather Pace As Large Bet Placed At Bookies

It was only last week that Ed Sheeran wowed crowds with two shows at Dublin’s 3 Arena and now rumours are surfacing that he may return to the city as early as next year. 

The speculation has gathered pace as Boylesports has suspended betting after one punter placed a €200 bet on the ‘Shape Of You’ star performing at GAA HQ in 2018. 

The customer was offered odds of 9/2 which would see him collect a return of €1100 if the outcome materialises.

The betting firm reckons someone knows something the rest of us don’t as spokesman Liam Glynn explained:

“Obviously someone knows more than we do about Croke Park’s concert arrangements for 2018 as a bet of €200 is rather large for this type of novelty betting.”

Whatever the case, we’re sure there are a lot of people out there hoping this is true.
