Curious about what music your fellow Irish are listening to on a loop? Well, a list of the most popular artists, albums and songs in Ireland has been released to DailyEdge by everyone’s fave music app, Spotify.

After it was revealed that Drake was the most streamed artist in the world for the second year in a row, it’s preeetty interesting to check out what tunes Spotify users in Ireland have been loving in 2016. 

Are your music tastes similar to the rest of the country, or do you beat to the tune of your own off-beat quirky electro drum? 

The top five most listened to songs were, from five to one: Major Lazor – ‘Light It Up (feat. Nyla and Fuse ODG)’, Calvin Harris – ‘This Is What You Came For’, Mike Posner – ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza (Seeb Remix)’, Sia  ‘Cheap Thrills’, and Drake  ‘One Dance’.
