This Irish Band Have Just Beaten Ed Sheeran’s Album To The Top Of The Charts

In case you’ve had your head under a rock the past few weeks and haven’t been tuned into the oul radio, let us tell you that The Coranas’ latest album ‘Trust The Wire’, especially single ‘Real Feel’, is an absolute banger.

So we’re pretty excited to hear then that the lads have just fought off new releases from U2 and Alt-J to knock Ed Sheeran’s record-breaking album ‘÷’ off the top spot.

Yep, ‘Trust The Wire’ has just made it to the official No.1 in the Irish charts, making it the band’s first No.1 album.

They’ve also announced that their biggest headline gig to date in IMMA on July 1st has just sold out – they’re moving on up folk.
