Winning hearts with his virtual hug sign, Cork youngster Adam King impressed viewers with his big dreams of one day becoming a space commander.
People the world over fell for space obsessed Cork boy Adam King after his Late Late Toy Show appearance on Friday night.
Telling Ryan of his love for all things to do with the sky, Adam has big dreams for the future and while he can’t be an astronaut because of his brittle bones, he plans on pursuing a job as a space commander on the ground.
Impressed by his passion and positivity, people all across the world reached out to Adam in the wake of the Toy Show including Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield who said the two should catch up to “talk space together”.
And now even NASA has gotten in touch – tweeting a message to Adam that reads:
“Adam’s kind heart and adventurous spirit inspires us. There’s space for everybody at NASA, and we can’t wait for him to one day join our team of dreamers. We’ll be here when he’s ready.”
