Beloved Late Late Toy Show star Adam King is set to star in a brand new animated series called Adam <3 Adventure!
The show is slated to be a preschool adventure-comedy series set in space and is expected to have an environmental angle. Teaming up with award-winning Irish animation studio Kavaleer Productions, Adam is set to become the very first wheelchair-user protagonist of an Irish children’s program.
The show will follow Adam’s character as he moving around the galaxy to help aliens on their missions.
Adam’s father David King explained how the whole family is “delighted to share this exciting news with the world”.
He said, “We believe in the importance and power of representation of the difference in the stories we tell our children. That is why we are thrilled that Adam, our beloved son and a child with additional needs, is going to be the star of this wonderful cartoon.”
Adam stole the heart of the nation when he appeared on the Late Late Toy Show in 2020, expressing his love for space and his dream of being an astronaut.
Adam <3 Adventure! is expected to have 52 episodes at 11 minutes each and will be unveiled at this September’s Cartoon Forum in Toulouse, France
