Netflix have just added 10 absolute classic movies to their library

Just when you think you might have finished Netflix, it brings on a host of new arrivals to their library, ensuring that it will be impossible to ever “finish Netflix”.

And we couldn’t be happier about that. They’ve added loads of new additions this week, but these are the ten that got our attention the most…

8 Mile

A young rapper (Eminem), struggling with every aspect of his life, wants to make it big but his friends and foes make this odyssey of rap harder than it may seem. Co-stars Kim Basinger, Brittany Murphy, and Michael Shannon.

Cape Fear

A convicted rapist (Robert De Niro), released from prison after serving a fourteen-year sentence, stalks the family of the lawyer who originally defended him. Also stars Nick Notle, Jessica Lange, and Juliette Lewis.

Inglorious Basterds

In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a plan to assassinate Nazi leaders by a group of Jewish U.S. soldiers coincides with a theatre owner’s vengeful plans for the same. Stars Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, Michael Fassbender, and loads more.

Gladiator

A former Roman General (Russell Crowe) sets out to exact vengeance against the corrupt emperor (Joaquin Phoenix) who murdered his family and sent him into slavery.

Les Miserables

In 19th-century France, Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman), who for decades has been hunted by the ruthless policeman Javert (Russell Crowe) after breaking parole, agrees to care for a factory worker’s daughter. The decision changes their lives forever. Also stars Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter and Eddie Redmayne.

Serenity

The crew of the ship Serenity try to evade an assassin (Chiwetel Ejifor) sent to recapture telepath River (Summer Glau). Also stars Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, and Sarah Paulson.

Tremors

Natives of a small isolated town defend themselves against strange underground creatures which are killing them one by one. Stars Kevin Bacon, Fred Ward, and Finn Carter.

Twins

A physically perfect but innocent man (Arnold Schwarzenegger) goes in search of his long-lost twin brother (Danny DeVito), who is short, a womaniser, and small-time crook.

Wanted

A frustrated office worker (James McAvoy) discovers that he is the son of a professional assassin, and that he shares his father’s superhuman killing abilities. Co-stars Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman.

Zero Dark Thirty

A chronicle of the decade-long hunt for al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama bin Laden after the September 2001 attacks, and his death at the hands of the Navy S.E.A.L.s Team 6 in May 2011. Stars Jessica Chastain, Chris Pratt, and Joel Edgerton.
