Niall Horan has announced that he’ll perform yet another live stream gig, this one in aid of a cause very close to the singer’s heart with all proceeds being shared between his touring crew and the ‘we need crew’ relief fund.
To quote Love Island’s Georgia Steel – Niall Horan fans are loyal, babe. There’s no denying that. And so, when Nialler took to social media teasing some “big news coming tomorrow”, you can bet that they followed up to make sure he saw it through.
While guesses as to what the mystery announcement could be ranged from the weird (Niall is pregnant) to the wonderful (Niall is running for president), the actual announcement was very on brand for the Mullingar man who revealed that he’ll be performing yet another livestream gig in the coming weeks.
Having more than got his practice in during lockdown – hardly a day went by that the former One Direction star wasn’t on Instagram live – he’s putting his learnings to good use and will take to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall this November 7th.
Using the occasion to fundraise for something he’s “incredibly passionate about”, all profits will be shared evenly between Niall’s own touring crew as well as the ‘we need crew’ relief fund.
Filling fans in on the details, he revealed all over on his Instagram account, writing:
“I’m sooo happy to share that I’ll be playing a special livestream show from London’s legendary @royalalberthall on 7th November !
Tickets go on-sale this Friday (October 16th) at 9AM BST.
This is a one-off ticketed live show with a special cause in mind. All profits from the event will be shared between my touring crew and the #weneedcrew relief fund.
This is something I’m incredibly passionate about as live events are something we all love and miss. Until we are able to return I want to shine a light on the incredible crew members of our touring world that make those events possible and whose livelihoods have been severely affected by Covid-19 and the lack of financial support to self-employed Arts World members.
I’m putting on this gig to try and raise awareness of the immense value they bring to an industry enjoyed by so many, and do something to help them and their families. I ask all you guys to support them with me and buy a ticket if you can, and I encourage all artists to do the same.
I’m going to put on a show for you and I promise you will love it.”
