The wee lesbian is back and we are delighted to hear it!
Nicola Coughlan is quite the busy lady these days. Not only has she been writing her new podcast ‘Whistle Through The Shamrocks’ but she’s also been on set for Bridgerton Season Two. She took to Instagram this week to let us know she’s back in her role as Clare, and we’re now even more excited for the third and final season of Derry Girls.

Last month she tweeted that while the cast had started filming, she would join once she was finished with Bridgerton. Well that time has come and it seems Clare is back in her uniform and pigtails, ready to give it socks for the final season. We can’t wait to see what disastrous situations the gals, and James (who is a Derry Girl after all) get into, and better yet, how poor Clare deals with the fall out.
It will be a sad bon voyage to the show when season three wraps, but we have a feeling it’s going to go out in style (in a step aerobics outfit, or a double denim combination no doubt).
