The Punisher – Virgin Media One – 9pm

An undercover FBI agent (Thomas Jane) becomes a vigilante and sets out to unleash his wrath upon the corrupt businessman (John Travolta) who slaughtered his entire family at a reunion.

Sully – BBC Two – 9pm

The story of Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger (Tom Hanks), an American pilot who became a hero after landing his damaged plane on the Hudson River in order to save the flight’s passengers and crew.

Instant Family – FilmFour – 9pm

A couple (Rose Byrne and Mark Wahlberg) find themselves in over their heads when they foster three children.

Rambo III – ITV4 – 9pm

Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) mounts a one-man mission to rescue his friend Colonel Trautman from the clutches of the formidable invading Soviet forces in Afghanistan.

The Zookeeper’s Wife – RTE Two – 10pm

Keepers of the Warsaw Zoo, Antonina Zabinski (Jessica Chastain) and her husband, must save hundreds of people and animals during the Nazi invasion in WWII Poland.

Gosford Park – RTE One – 11.45pm

Set in the 1930s, this movie brings a group of pretentious rich and famous together for a weekend of relaxation at a hunting resort. But when a murder occurs, each one of these interesting characters becomes a suspect. Stars Maggie Smith, Ryan Phillippe, and Michael Gambon.

Let’s Be Cops – Channel 4 – 12.05am

Two struggling pals (Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr.) dress as police officers for a costume party and become neighbourhood sensations. But when these newly-minted “heroes” get tangled in a real life web of mobsters and dirty detectives, they must put their fake badges on the line.

The brash James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) tries to live up to his father’s legacy with Mr. Spock (Zachary Quinto) keeping him in check as a vengeful Romulan from the future creates black holes to destroy the Federation one planet at a time.

During an attack on a U.S. compound in Libya, a security team struggles to make sense out of the chaos. Directed by Michael Bay, starring John Krasinski.
