Once Upon a Time in Hollywood arrives on Netflix in Ireland in July

James Fenton

Netflix have announced that 2019 comedy drama Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will be arriving on the platform on Wednesday, July 7.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood might remind you of ‘once upon a time pre-pandemic’ when cinemas were open, popcorn was flowing and the word ‘coronavirus’ might only have raised concerns about the health of a well-known Irish rock band. Back in the summer of 2019, when the movie was released, none of us had idea about what was to come.

The Quentin Tarantino creation was among the most talked-about movies of a stellar year which also saw the release of the likes of The Irishman, The Favourite and Marriage Story. That’s no surprise given its A-list cast, led by Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie.

Well, you will soon be able to relive that innocent pre-pandemic movie era when Once Upon a Time in Hollywood lands on Netlfix here in Ireland on Wednesday, July 7. A memorable summer blockbuster with a gorgeous 1960s soundtrack on a balmy July evening at home. What more could you want?

The trailer is below if you need to refresh your memory, or indeed if you haven’t managed to see the movie yet.
