As someone who grew up during the time when mega franchises Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean were hitting our screens, one could say I used to (yes, used to) have an unhealthy obsession with a one Mr Orlando Bloom. To the point that I received birthday cards with Legolas on them, and posters of Will Turner for my bedroom wall.
That he has ended up with someone called Katy is not lost on me either… but we’re getting off topic. I tell you this to emphasise my excitement to see that Orlando Bloom has been spotted in Cork of all places.

Twitter user Ronan Murphy (@smarttech01) shared this image of himself and Orlando Bloom enjoying a coffee from Three Fools Coffee in Cork. And if Murphy is to be believed, Bloom said it was the “best coffee he ever tasted!” We will absolutely take him at his word; Bloom looks to be having a swell time.
Though she hasn’t been spotted herself, allegedly Bloom’s partner Katy (no, not me) Perry is also in Cork, having travelled on a cruise ship from Reykjavik, Iceland where she performed onboard. The Norwegian Prima docked at Cobh for just over 8 hours today, and has since gone on its way again.

Let’s hope it’s only a matter of time before we spot the whole family together wandering the streets of Cork. Locals, be on the look out. And get yourself a Three Fools Coffee while you’re at it; sure the pure whiff of it may just lure Bloom out.
