The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off kicks off tonight with Louis Theroux and Ovie Soko among the first set of star names set to take part over five weeks.

Channel 4 airs The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off starting from tonight and among the stellar cast this evening are everyone’s favourite documentary maker Louis Theroux as well as Ovie Soko, who starred on Love Island in 2019.

It’s all in aid of the Stand Up To Cancer telethon which aims to raise money for cancer research and other contestants taking part tonight are comedians Russell Howard and Jenny Eclair. Further famous faces that will appear over the next five weeks include singer James Blunt, The Inbetweeners star James Buckley, Eastenders’ Patsy Palmer and model Kelly Brook among a whole lot more.

In tonight’s episode, Theroux et al are challenged to make a giant biscuit, a classic bake, and a choux sculpture depicting their perfect day. If Louis’ baking is half as good as his interviewing skills then he should do well although if not, viewers should still be in for an entertaining night.

The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off airs tonight on Channel 4 at 8pm.
