Patrick Kielty buys £5mil fixer-upper home neighbouring Harry Styles in London

The Late Late host purchased the derelict Hampstead home together with his wife Cat Deeley.

As Patrick Kielty settles into his hosting chair at RTÉ, he’s also laying down more permanent roots across the pond in the form of a multi-million pound pad in the affluent neighbourhood of Hampstead.

The home, which is reportedly located next door to Harry Styles’s, is a rundown 1950’s build which has lain vacant for a number of years.

According to The Sunday World, the couple have been given the go-ahead to renovate, extend and upgrade the five bedroom property and transform it into a home suitable for “modern day family living”.

Patrick and Cat had previously lived in Los Angeles with their two sons, James and Milo, but left after Patrick and James narrowly avoided a public shooting at a mall in 2020. They decided they would rather have their children go to school in the UK and be close to family.

The home has been described as being in “very poor” state, and in a statement shared by the Sunday World, the couple’s planning agent said:

“The existing dwelling has some many positive qualities which the owners wish to build on and strengthen. There are other aspects of the existing house which need improving.

“It has been unoccupied for many years and is in a poor state of repair. The internal layout of the house and split levels makes the house feel disjointed and awkward at times. It is very dark in the centre of the house on both floors”.

The couple’s plans for the home include his and hers dressing rooms, a “nanny suite” guest room, a child’s play area and an in-house bar.
