Paul Mescal reveals Irish artist he’d most like to perform with

Paul Mescal

The Normal People star already has a performance with fellow Irishman Dermot Kennedy under his belt.

There are very few people who don’t know the name Paul Mescal by now.

One of the breakout stars of last year, the Kildare man shot to fame following his portrayal of Connell Waldron in the TV adaptation of Sally Rooney’s Normal People. On an upward climb ever since, the Irish actor has enjoyed overwhelming success in recent months – with job offers coming in from all fronts.

Also wowing with his impressive vocal abilities, Mescal has revealed that he has big musical aspirations, saying that he’d love to duet with none other than our own Niall Horan.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Paul commented:

“There are lots I’d like to perform with – Billie Eilish, Niall Horan – but I think I’d be firmly out of my depth.”

Already ticking a duet with Dermot Kennedy off the list, who’s to say that a collab with Nialler isn’t within the realm of possibility? If JB (that’s Justin Bieber to you) taught is anything, it’s never say never.
