Paul Mescal is set to star in a new Rolling Stones music video. Moves like… Mescal?

Paul Mescal is one busy bee. The Kildare man has scarcely had a minute to himself since skyrocketing to international fame following his Normal People debut. Between magazine shoots, podcast interviews, live performances and you know, general life admin, he’s hardly had time to soak it all in.

And things aren’t about to slow down for him anytime soon either. Quite the opposite in fact and his next project is set to see the actor star in a Rolling Stones music video. Only one of the biggest rock bands the world has ever seen, they’re apparently big fans of his and are hoping he’ll bring a new twist to their image.

Teaming up with the group on the video for their new track Scarlet, Paul will take centre stage as a rock ‘n’ roll leading man. A source close to the project told The Sun:

“Paul plays a hunky party boy in the film, and no doubt there will be a whole new set of fans of his who will want to check it out too, as well as the band’s fanbase. The plan is to finalise it over the next few days. Hopefully, fans will get to see the results very soon.”

Proving himself not only as a talented actor but singer/performer as well, it’s clear that Paul is a jack of all trades so no doubt he’ll hit it outta the park.
