Galway’s Christmas Market is boasting bigger and better attractions this year, with the introduction of a new ferris wheel, twice the amount of lights than ever before and all the stalls and stands you’ve previously loved before.
This year’s Christmas market will take place both in Kennedy Park and on the plaza on the northern side of Eyre Square.
Kennedy Park will be lit up like never before with lighting installations throughout, as well as an enchanting light garden in the western quadrant.
The market will feature the massively popular bier keller on the plaza, open until 10pm each evening.
Indulgent treats will be on tap, including Czech chimney cakes, French crepes, Belgian waffles, German bratwurst and gluhwein, doughnuts, Italian chocolates, candied nuts, and Irish fudge from the Aran Islands.

We personally can’t wait for the extravaganza – and we implore you to get down and check it out. It’s definitely, definitely not to be missed.
