Meath County Council has issued a warning to people hitting the beach along the east coast of Ireland today.
They are advising people to be ‘extremely vigilant’ for dangerous Lion’s Mane jellyfish that have been found in the water and on most of their beaches recently.
Lion’s Mane jellyfish have been found on the Bettystown beach in recent days – and stings from these jellyfish can be very serious.
