Recognise Helen from Normal People? Here’s why

Last night, Normal People viewers were introduced to Helen Brophy, someone we won't tell you any more about for fear of giving away key plot points.

We later heard here voice over the phone as one of the main characters rang her from Italy and many people have had their heads wrecked trying to remember where they know Aoife Hinds, who plays Helen, from. Wonder no more because Aoife appeared in the second series of Derry Girls as Mae Cheung, an antagonist of lead character Erin and her gang... There ya are now. If you're looking for more trivia to impress your mates down the pub, or somewhere that's safe within a 5km distance, Aoife is in fact the daughter of Ciaran Hinds, who played Mance Rayder in Game Of Thrones. Normal People viewers will get to see more of Aoife over the coming weeks as the series continues on Tuesday nights on RTE One.
