Riverdance Will Celebrate Its 25th Anniversary With A Special Show At The 3Arena

It’s 25 years to the day since Riverdance first performed at the Point Theatre, and to celebrate they’re planning a very special show at the 3Arena.

Starting out as a Eurovision interval act, Riverdance wowed the world with their dancing and showmanship.

And they’ve continued to captivate audiences ever since.

The 25th Anniversary Show is described as “a powerful and stirring reinvention of this beloved family favourite” and will see performers deliver the passion and energy they’re so famous for.

Composer Bill Whelan has rerecorded the soundtrack while producer Moya Doherty and director John McColgan have come together to create an even more ground-breaking show complete with innovative lighting, projection, stage and costume designs.

Having toured the globe, putting on shows in more than 500 venues to over 27 million people, Riverdance showcases the best of Irish talent.

The cast will feature dancers and musicians at the top of their game as they put on an immersive experience that guarantees to impress.

The production will run for five performances only from February 6 to 9 2020. Tickets go on sale next Thursday at 9 a.m.
