RTÉ has published the salaries of all of its top earners

RTÉ has published the salaries of all of its top 10 earners for 2017, 2018 and 2019, with Ryan Tubridy topping the list in each of the three years.

In 2017, Tubridy earned €491,667, rising to €495,000 in both 2018 and 2019. Second in the list is Ray D’Arcy, who earned €450,000 in each of the three years. Joe Duffy was in third with €398,738 in 2017, €404,988 in 2018 and €392,494 in 2019.

The retired Sean O’Rourke (€321,071) was fourth on the list in 2017, with the late Marian Finucane (€314,809) in fifth, followed by Miriam O’Callaghan on €299,000, Claire Byrne who earned €240,000, George Hamilton on €191,496, Darragh Maloney with €183,743 and Nicky Bryne on €182,400.

Tubridy, D’Arcy and Duffy were the top three earners in all of the years, with other presenters making the list including Brendan O’Connor, Bryan Dobson and Mary Wilson.

RTÉ noted that it has cut the pay of its highest earning presenters by 15% in 2020.You can read about RTÉ’s highest earners in 2017, 2018 and 2019 here.
