Russell Brand has cancelled the remainder of his Re:Birth tour, stating that he’s “too sad to perform” after his mother received life-threatening injuries in a car accident last week.
The English comedian was due on stage at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on May 23 and 24 as well as as the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on May 26. Earlier today, Russell posted a video online explaining that he will have to pull out of the tour while also advising fans that refunds will be provided.
Thanks for your kind messages.
