WATCH: A Chat Between A 10-Year-Old Saoirse Ronan And Gerry Ryan Was Played On Graham Norton Last Night

Saoirse Ronan was always destined for big things. Not many people get an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress at the age of 13, after all.

But did you know that just three years before her star turn in Atonement, Saoirse charmed the nation’s radio listeners when she appeared on The Gerry Ryan Show on 2FM? If you didn’t, you’re not alone.

All was revealed on last week’s episode of The Late Late Show but international audiences were filled in by Graham Norton when Saoirse appeared on his sofa last night. Graham got wind of the old clip of the 10-year-old future star winning a trip to Florida on Gerry’s show and it makes for hilarious listening as Saoirse puts her fledgling acting skills to good use.
