Sean Paul will enter the Love Island villa

Yes, you read that right – Sean Paul is entering the villa.

Things are about to heat up even more out in South Africa with the entry of one Sean Paul into the Love Island villa.

Set to join the islanders this weekend, ITV announced the singer will head in for the Spotify party.

Last year saw Craig David enter the villa to perform for the crew – much to the delight of Anton Danyluk who classed himself as somewhat of a superfan.

Revealing the big news on social media, the Love Island official Instagram account posted a video of Sean Paul in which he said he’s “ready to bring the fire to the Love Island crew”.

They captioned the video:

“Yep, actual @duttypaul is heading into the villa to host a party like no other! And don’t worry… we totally got him to say ‘Jordan and Rebecca’ #LoveIsland.”

Performing his new single ‘Calling On Me’, the party is sure to be a very welcome mood booster.

Tensions are high at the moment following last night’s recoupling which saw the boys return to the villa from Casa Amor.

Described as “the ultimate relationship test”, contestants had to choose whether they would like to stick with their original partner or recouple with one of the new arrivals – and there were more than a few surprises.

Both Shaughna Phillips and Demi Jones were left single after their original partners Callum Jones and Nas Majeed decided to couple up with new girls.

Siannise Fudge and partner Luke Trotman stayed loyal to each other as did Paige Turley and Finn Tapp while Mike Boateng, Luke Mabbott, Jess  Gale and Rebecca Gormley all coupled up with new arrivals.

The drama will continue tonight on Virgin Media at 9pm.
