Describing it as “a purely business decision”, one can’t help but wonder if her infamous $75million listing has anything to do with it…
The rumour mill has been churning out Selling Sunset-related gossip ever since season three of the luxury real estate show landed on Netflix earlier this year. Grabbing the world’s attention for the stunning houses the series showcased, it was the drama that really kept viewers going back for more – with star Davina Potratz proving herself to be one of the key pot-stirrers.
Entrusted with a hefty $75million listing in the final series, there was always a bit of a question mark over what she’d do if told to throw in the towel. Suggesting that she’d consider going it alone, Davina has confirmed that she will be leaving the Oppenheim Group but only because she’s been offered another job.
Moving from her current job to one at rival agency Douglas Elliman in Beverly Hills, Davina said that she’s very excited about the new opportunity. Describing it as “a purely business decision”, Davina told People Magazine that while she hasn’t broken the news to her Selling Sunset costars just yet , she’s sure they’ll be supportive.
“We all know each other so well. So I think they’ll be excited and supportive. It’s not that I wanted to leave, but I had a great opportunity. It was a purely business decision.”
Adding that she hopes she’s still a part of the cast, she doesn’t seem to think it will be much of a problem consider that Brett Oppenheim has also since left the brokerage.
Is that confirmation of a fourth season? IS IT?!
