Poltergeist – BBC Four – 9pm

The 1982 horror classic, involving a family home being haunted by a host of demonic ghosts.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard – FilmFour – 9pm

The world’s top bodyguard (Ryan Reynolds) gets a new client, a hitman (Samuel L. Jackson) who must testify at the International Criminal Court. They must put their differences aside and work together to make it to the trial on time.

Rambo: First Blood Part II – ITV4 – 9pm

Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) returns to the jungles of Vietnam on a mission to infiltrate an enemy base-camp and rescue the American POWs still held captive there.

Halloween – BBC Four – 10.50pm

Fifteen years after murdering his sister on Halloween night 1963, Michael Myers escapes from a mental hospital and returns to the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois to kill again.

Zero Dark Thirty – ITV4 – 11.05pm

A chronicle of the decade-long hunt for al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama bin Laden after the September 2001 attacks, and his death at the hands of the Navy S.E.A.L.s Team 6 in May 2011.

Big Game – FilmFour – 11.20pm

A young teenager camping in the woods helps rescue the President of the United States (Samuel L. Jackson) when Air Force One is shot down near his campsite.

Raging Bull – TG4 – 12.05am

The life of boxer Jake LaMotta (Robert De Niro), whose violence and temper that led him to the top in the ring destroyed his life outside of it.
