The cofounders of Stripe (an international company that allows both private individuals and businesses to accept payments over the Internet. joined the ranks of the world’s youngest billionaires after it announced a new round of funding last week that valued the company at a whopping $9.2 billion.

Brothers Patrick Collison and John Collison are now worth at least $1.1 billion each, due to both owning at least 12% of the company. An overachieving family, so it seems.

At 26 years of age, John Collison, Stripe’s president, is now the world’s youngest self-made billionaire – just pipping Snapchat cofounder and CEO Evan Spiegel to the post,  who is two months older than Collison himself.

His brother, Patrick Collison, 28, and Snapchat cofounder Bobby Murphy, 28, are the only other self-made billionaires in the world under age 30.

The Collison brothers join six other Irish billionaires on the Forbes World Billionaire List and are now Ireland’s youngest billionaires, even though they live and work in San Francisco.
