Sony reveal release dates for some of the biggest upcoming PS5 games

Rory Cashin

Some are arriving this month, and there are some we won’t get our hands until 2023!

Normally, the Consumer Electronics Show is the yearly way for all the big names in the world of gaming to show off what they’ve got coming over the horizon, and despite the fact that the event – held in Las Vegas every January – was forced to go almost entirely virtual due to the pandemic, that was still the case this year, too.

Jim Ryan, the CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, made the announcement that the launch of the PlayStation 5 was the most successful launch in the history of the company, and the biggest console launch of all time.

Throughout his short statement (see below), his speech was interspersed with footage of existing and upcoming PS5 games.

The very final image from his speech features lots of writing down the end of the screen, and it is actually full of game titles and, in some cases, previously unknown release dates.

And here they are:

  • Hitman III – 20 January 2021
  • Returnal – 19 March 2021
  • Kena: Bridge of Spirits – March 2021
  • Solar Ash – June 2021
  • Little Devil Inside – July 2021
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo – October 2021
  • Stray – October 2021
  • Project Athia – January 2022
  • Pragmata – 2023

And if you’d like a longer look at that game that now isn’t coming out until 2023, take a look at the frankly jaw-dropping teaser trailer right here:
