Source claims Oprah Winfrey x Britney Spears interview very possible

Fans have been calling for a tell-all Britney Spears interview for quite some time now, with those calls intensifying in the weeks following the release of a New York Times investigative documentary on the singer.

First premiering on US streaming platform Hulu earlier last month, the Framing Britney Spears documentary has caused a renewed interest in the performer’s life – drawing particular attention to the Free Britney movement and the legal ramifications of her father’s conservatorship.

However, while Britney herself wasn’t involved in the documentary, sources close to the singer have revealed that public support has been so great that Brit is now reportedly considering speaking out on the situation. And she has only one woman in mind for the job.

Chatting to Entertainment Tonight on the possibility of a tell-all interview, a source commented:

“Britney has considered speaking out about her past, mostly because she doesn’t feel others should tell her story.

“She’s always hated doing interviews but if she ever takes that step, Oprah would most likely be her first choice.

“At this point, there is no plan in the works for her to do an interview but when she does, there will be steps Britney would need to take before speaking out.”

Later adding that Britney has been “much happier lately”, the source put it down to the “tremendous support” she’s received from her fans saying:

“The release of the documentary has inspired an outpouring of more love than ever. While she hasn’t been able to make changes to her conservatorship, she’s received millions of messages from fans on social media and she feels far more understood.”

Fresh off the success of her interview with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the internet has been singing Oprah’s praises ever since with Britney fans keen advocates of having the US talk show host sit down with Ms Spears.
