Spot Colm Meaney in the trailer for the new season of It’s Always Sunny

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is returning for its 15th season in December, and the new trailer shows a sneak peek of the gang’s trip to Ireland.

Dennis, Charlie, Mac, Dee, and Frank (who all apparently don’t age) are all back for the new season in which the gang visit the emerald isle (cut to the inevitable attempt of an Irish accent from Dee at the start of the trailer. We’re lapping it up tbh). During their travels, Charlie befriends a local grocer played by none other than Colm Meaney. They’re into a lot of the same stuff, apparently. Ghouls, and cheese, and…. ghouls.

The trip to Ireland marks the first time the gang have recorded an episode outside of the States, according to our friends at JOE. Previously, the furthest they made it to was the Jersey Shore. Who could forget the iconic rum ham?

As most of us know, the long running comedy filmed here over the summer, with a callout for a Danny Devito lookalike for stand in scenes causing quite the stir.

Also featured in the trailer is Mac’s attempt at becoming a Catholic priest and Frank’s claim that he’s been for a snorkelling trip around Jeffery Epstein’s island. All subject matter longstanding fans of the show will no doubt have come to expect.

The new season of It’s Always Sunny premieres on FXX on 1 December in the US.
