Stormzy shares hilarious text exchange as his world tour tickets are released

James Fenton

While fans worldwide have been falling over themselves today to get tickets for Stormzy’s 2020 world tour, the rapper has been busy adding some extra dates.

Dublin is one of the cities which have been treated to an extra performance of the star’s Heavy Is The Head tour and if we are to follow the logic of one fan, Stormzy better start brushing up on his Gaeilge.

In an effort to highlight all the excitement, Stormzy has been retweeting fans’ posts all day and while there’s bound to be thousands of them, there was one that he clearly had to look twice at.

Along with the caption ‘Lmfao wtf’, he has shared a screenshot of a text exchange between one confused fan and a slightly more enlightened one. Making a plan to see Stormzy on the Amsterdam leg of his tour, one of the people involved appears to be under the impression that the show will be performed in Dutch simply because of its location. They’re quickly put right by their pal but not without several laughing emojis to indicate the naivety of their conclusion.

Take a look at the full exchange by clicking on the tweet below…

Absolutely wonderful. Stormzy (or should that be ‘Stoirmzy’) will perform in Dublin’s 3 Arena on September 7 and 8 of next year. Let’s just hope he has his modh coinníollach learned off before he gets here.

All together now – Dún Suas.
