New Snapcash Video Is Pure Cheese And Everything A Financial Product Advert Never Is


When I think of banking or financial advertising I tend to think of boring, safe adds that show users the safety and security around a product. Snapchat yesterday launched their new Snapcash feature and their video to promote it is anything but safe and instead goes for over the top cheese and talks about "making it rain money". They are targeting a whole new younger audience and I love the way it makes their product stand out and it will certainly appeal to a new generation. Given the leaks that Snapchat have had with their data over the last year and security concerns you'd think they'd take a safer tact but we love this for being something new and original. Who knows if the product will work but it certainly feels fresh and exciting!
