The Chemical Brothers have announced a massive Cork show for next summer

Gig announcements are ten a penny at this time of year but anyone who has ever seen the Chemical Brothers live will know that they pretty much top the lot.

The British electronic duo have confirmed that they will play a show at Cork’s Irish Independent Park on Saturday June 20 2020 and the gig is sure to attract fans from all over the country. The Chemical Brothers formed in Manchester in the late 80s and have since gone on to achieve huge commercial success as well as earn a reputation for providing one of the most innovative and entertaining live shows around.

Consisting of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, The Chemical Brothers’ sets are performed to a backdrop of awe-inspiring light shows and if you’ve never experienced them before, you can get a taste of what’s in store in the below video….

The Chemical Brothers are one of the biggest dance acts in the world with nine studio albums to their name. They have also racked up four Grammy Awards throughout a stellar career and have shown no signs of slowing down as they enter their fourth decade of existence.

Tickets for the Chemical Brothers go on sale this coming Friday at 9am and anyone who manages to get one is in for an absolute treat. More information can be found here.
