The Corrs Are Returning To Play Some Irish Gigs Next Year

James Fenton

“What can I do to make you love me?”

A question posed by The Corrs in one of their many iconic songs. Well, Andrea et al, going back on tour would be nice. According to reports, the wishes of the Dundalk siblings’ legions of fans could soon be granted with the band expected to embark on a tour next year.

The Sun suggests the Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim will be dusting off their tin whistles and violins for a series of concerts in Ireland, the UK and the United States throughout 2020. The last time they toured was in 2016 so it’s about time to be fair.

While details of venues and dates are yet to be disclosed, one would imagine things will be ironed out before the Christmas rush, giving you plenty of time to save a few pennies and treat a loved one, or indeed yourself.

As you can attest from the below clip, The Corrs’ live shows are always a great experience so here’s hoping the reports are true.

The Aviva or Croke Park would certainly seem appropriate given the number of tickets that could potentially be sold. Don’t be keeping us in suspense now, folks.
