Christmas Eve is still over a week away but Santa Claus has already been spotted getting in some practice in the skies over Ireland.
The Garda Air Support Unit has issued an update on a sighting of 'a man in red and white riding around around the sky in a reindeer-led sleigh', a description can only mean that Santa Claus is doing his pre-Christmas practice run.
The update goes on to say that 'the man was found to be in possession of a full sleigh-license and was bringing home lots of presents to wrap for giving out on Christmas Night.'

2020 has been the year of working from home, with travel only permitted if it is essential to you doing your work. In case you were wondering, Santa has been officially
classified by the Government as an essential worker and so children around Ireland can look forward to being left presents on Christmas Eve as normal.
He will, of course, be following all public health guidelines and washing his hands regularly throughout his Christmas Eve night shift. You can read more on HSE guidelines on how to prevent the spread of Covid-19
