There will be an Irish flavour to tonight’s Graham Norton line-up

James Fenton

In a week when The Wolfe Tones reached the top of the UK charts, it makes sense that there will be some Irish representation on tonight’s Graham Norton Show.

The Corkman is back with his first line-up of 2020 and he will have a compatriot among his star-studded line-up in the form of Sharon Horgan, the brains behind hit comedy shows such as Pulling and Catastrophe.

The Meath woman will be on to discuss her role in upcoming drama film Military Wives in which she stars alongside Academy Award-nominee Kristen Scott Thomas. While Sharon herself brings plenty of star power, she’ll have to scooch down the sofa to make room for some more massive names.

Daniel Radcliffe, him off Harry Potter, talks about appearing in a new production of Samuel Beckett’s Endgame which starts in the Old Vic in London this month. Daniel will be joined by co-star Alan Cumming who has a number of stage credits under his belt.

If that’s not enough excitement, 2000s icon Craig David also be on to talk about his new album (yay) and upcoming tour which includes no Irish dates (boo). He will also be performing live on tonight’s show.

Completing tonight’s Graham Norton line-up will be veteran actress Miriam Margoyles who will be talking about her role in BBC period drama Call The Midwife.

You can catch tonight’s Graham Norton Show on BBC 1 tonight from 11.05pm.
