Your Monday night movie viewing menu is ready!

Somehow we’re already on the second Monday of January.

Somehow, we’ve got another weather warning to deal with tonight.

But somehow, thankfully, we’ve got another selection of entertaining movies for you to choose from this evening.

Baywatch – Comedy Central – 9pm

Zac Efron and The Rock star in this updated action-comedy based on the hit TV show, with a much bigger budget and much bigger muscles.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows – Sky One – 9pm

This just-as-good-as-the-original sequel sees Downey Jnr. and Law team up again to take down the incredibly intelligent Moriarty (played to perfection by Jared Harris), who has designs of kicking off a world war.

Logan – FilmFour – 9pm

Up there with The Dark Knight and Into The Spider-Verse in terms of the greatest comic book movies ever made, this final outing for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is a brilliant, sombre closing chapter for one of the all-time greatest superheroes.

Blue Valentine – TG4 – 9.30pm

Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams star in this powerful, emotional drama that takes us back and forth between the beginning of their lust-filled romance, and the bitter ending, slowly filling in the blanks of how it all fell apart.

A Most Wanted Man – FilmFour – 11.45pm

Rachel McAdams, Willem Dafoe, and the late, great Phillip Seymour Hoffman star in this cold-war thriller about a man heading to Hamburg to pick up his dead father’s inheritance, but officials in the American and German governments believe he may be a terrorist in disguise.
