Only The Brave – FilmFour – 6.20pm

Based on the true story of a group of fire fighters who attempt to save a town from being engulfed in a historic wildfire. Stars Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, Jeff Bridges, Jennifer Connolly, and Taylor Kitsch.

Rio Bravo – BBC Four – 8pm

One of the greatest westerns of all time, with a small-town sheriff (John Wayne) in the American West enlisting the help of some town locals in his efforts to hold in jail the brother of the local bad guy.

Rambo III – ITV4 – 9pm

The one where Rambo goes to Afghanistan to save his friend and kills 115 people on screen.

50 First Dates – Comedy Central – 9pm

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore reunite after the success of The Wedding Singer for another decent rom-com, in which he plays a man who falls in love with a woman who suffers from a rare form of amnesia, that results in her waking up every day with no memories from the last few years.

Shaun of the Dead – ITV4 – 11.10pm

The legendary rom-zom-com is sure to get you in the mood for Halloween, with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as two slacker BFFs who suddenly find themselves in the middle of a zombie apocalypse in London.

Red 2 – FilmFour – 11.15pm

Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, Anthony Hopkins and more star in this action-comedy sequel about a group of elderly assassins forced out of retirement.

Demolition – Channel 4 – 1.55pm

A successful investment banker (Jake Gyllenhaal) struggles after losing his wife in a tragic car crash. With the help of a customer service rep (Naomi Watts) and her young son, he starts to rebuild, beginning with the demolition of the life he once knew.
