Misneach’s got that face you make to your friends in the club when you’re trapped talking to some lad about his craft beer podcast.
Bród’s looking like his mother’s just told him to say a “quick hello” to his auntie Nora on the phone. The vibes are simply off, and these dogs know it.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin paid a recent visit to Áras an Uachtaráin for some “judicial appointments”, and shared some pics of himself being greeted by Ireland’s favourite canines, Bród and Misneach.
Michael D’s Bernese mountain dogs look less than impressed in said pics. In fact, they look absolutely ragin’.
Lovely greeting by Misneach and Bród when I visited @PresidentIRL at the Áras today for some judicial appointments. pic.twitter.com/DSHyYMrdp5

As you’d imagine, Irish Twitter is already lapping up these images, which are sure to go down in the meme history books. If there’s video footage of this meeting and we don’t see it featured in the 2022 episode of Reeling in the Years, we’ll be deeply disgruntled.
I've always said we need more dogs on the bench https://t.co/cxGvUawxAL

Picturing Michael D and Sabina off to the side being like “ah now, ye do know him! That’s your uncle Micheál. Come on now, give him a hug and tell him how you’ve been getting on in school”. Or maybe they were off to the side absolutely loving the entire interaction. I guess we’ll never know for sure. Either way, Bród and Misneach have managed to portray how we as a nation are feeling without saying a word.
