Hands up who always has an absolutely shite Halloween? Yep, us too.
Town is jammers, you can never get into the club you wanted to go to, and everything turns out to be a complete mess. So why not check out an alternative event…
Tall Tales – in the Company of Wolves is an intimate gathering on October 29th hosted in the unique setting of boarding school set in a 17th century Georgian mansion in Kells, in the historic county of Meath. There will be three rooms of entertainment for the night, one of which is a “charmingly aged ballroom.”
Music will cover an array genres to keep things diverse and interesting and will range from light disco beats, funk, ambient electronic music, and heavier techno delivered by local Irish artists and collectives, and Tall Tales will also feature ample performances, spoken word, and visuals from Dublin based theatre collectives such as Spooky Beour.
Other features will include BYOB, LED hoopers and smaller details such as tarot card reading by an open fire.
These sneak peeks are making us v excited…
“Dance by candle light to faceless strangers, immerse yourself in the haunting beauty of this grand estate, hand in hand embrace the dark cold autumn nights with us.”
BYOB in an ancient old boarding school in the countryside? We’re sold.
Tickets are available here and include return transport to and from the venue to Dublin.
