This Netflix Series About A Town Of Gunslinging Women In The Wild West Looks Set To Be Fantastic

Godless, a seven-part western series, will be released on Netflix next month and the new official trailer has got us chomping at the bit for more. 

Following a massive accident at the local mine, the town of La Belle finds itself almost completely without men. When Roy Goode, an outlaw on the run, stumbles upon the town, he’s given refuge by one of the local widows — only for her to discover that Goode’s former confederates are hunting him and will kill anyone in their way.

The pedigree here is enviable — with creators Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated screenwriter and director Scott Frank, Academy Award-winner Steven Soderbergh, and starring Jack O’Connell, Michelle Dockery and Jeff Daniels — so we’re expecting great things from the show.

Godless hits Netflix on November 22.
