Maura Higgins has confirmed that TikTok has removed her profile for violating guidelines just days after she joined the app.
Love Island star Maura Higgins has taken to her Insta Stories to explain that video-sharing app TikTok has removed her profile after her first post for “violating guidelines”.
The Longford woman announced earlier this week that she would be joining the social media site but after posting her first video yesterday her profile was swiftly removed. Maura invited her Instagram followers to swipe up to her first TikTok but that post was soon followed by a video of herself looking forlorn and saying “Update on my Tiktok…. they’ve taken my whole profile down. My first TikTok down for violating their guidelines. So it’s going really well.”
She contradicts herself slightly and it’s not clear if TikTok actually took down her whole profile or just the post. Whatever the case, she seems to be back up and running now and followers can now see what she’s getting up to at home during this period of social isolation. Basically, it seems to be a mix between thrusting, cleaning and, em, sitting on the toilet. Keeping busy, so.
